Empowering Educators for Racial Justice
Founded in 2001, the Center for Racial Justice in Education, originally known as Border Crossers, has dedicated over two decades to dismantling patterns of racism and injustice in schools and communities. In 2010, the mission evolved to focus on training educators, recognizing that youth cannot advance racial justice alone. Thousands of educators have since been trained to disrupt and dismantle racism in various learning environments.
Transforming Education Through Impact
Since 2012, CRJE has trained thousands of educators across the United States, constructing a new reality of racial justice where all children, their families, and their communities thrive.
