The Center for Native Futures was founded by Native artists during the pandemic to establish a lasting Native presence in Chicago. With over 20 years of combined experience, the founding members have built strong relationships with tribal communities and Indigenous organizations, promoting Native creativity and supporting contemporary artists.
As the only all-Native artist-led arts non-profit in Chicago, the Center for Native Futures advances Native fine arts and encourages Indigenous Futurists through gallery exhibitions, artist-in-residencies, and community events.
