Empowering Communities Through Health Education

The Center for Multicultural Wellness and Prevention (CMWP) was founded in 1995 to provide essential health education and outreach services to minority populations in Orlando. With a commitment to addressing health disparities, CMWP has become a vital resource for African Americans, Hispanics, Haitians, and other minorities in Central Florida.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, CMWP has reached over 200,000 uninsured individuals, providing tailored health information and education programs. The Annual Caribbean Health Summit has offered free screenings to more than 25,000 uninsured and underinsured individuals, significantly improving community health.
