Our Story

The Center for Higher Educational Achievement (CHEA) was established to build strong communities by addressing educational, economic, and residential obstacles that hinder self-sufficiency. Since opening the CHEA Adult Skill Center in 2011, the organization has provided personalized academic training for adults aged 25 and older, focusing on vulnerable populations, including those who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed (ALICE).

Impact

CHEA has consistently created purposeful programs designed to break down barriers to self-sufficiency, including educational programs for low-income adults and housing support for veterans.
