The Center for Family Representation (CFR) is dedicated to defending the rights of parents and youth, particularly low-income Black and brown families, through comprehensive legal and social work services. Operating in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, CFR fights against the systemic issues of family regulation and incarceration, ensuring that families can raise their children with dignity and self-determination.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, CFR has positively impacted nearly 12,000 families, significantly reducing the financial burden of the foster care system by over $50 million for the City. With a growing team and a commitment to systemic change, CFR is at the forefront of advocating for youth and families.
