Our Story
Founded in 1985, the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons provides specialized services for individuals who are deaf and blind. Established by Ruth Silver, the center evolved from a social group into a full-service agency dedicated to minimizing the effects of dual sensory loss.

With over 11,000 hours of training provided, the Center has significantly improved the independence and quality of life for individuals with dual sensory loss. The expansion into vocational training and community support has further enhanced the lives of clients and their families.
