Our Story
Founded in 1992 by Dr. Phil Bosserman, the Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution began as the Center for Teaching Peace, aimed at supporting the Peace Studies minor at Salisbury State’s Sociology Department. As the need for mediation and conflict resolution services grew, the Center evolved, becoming a nonprofit in 1997 and expanding its programs significantly. In 2012, it was renamed to honor its founder's dedication to peace.
