About the Center for Climate Strategies

Founded in 2004, the Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) emerged from the need for collaborative, stakeholder-driven approaches to tackle climate change and promote economic and environmental progress. With a commitment to nonpartisan solutions, CCS has facilitated consensus-building processes across the United States, leading to the development of 20 climate action plans spearheaded by governors and involving over 1,500 stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

Global Impact and Initiatives

CCS has successfully expanded its innovative processes beyond the U.S., implementing similar strategies in Mexico and China. To date, CCS has executed over 100 projects worldwide, focusing on high-impact partnerships that drive planning, decision-making, and capacity building across all economic sectors. These efforts aim to stabilize the climate, revitalize economies, and foster a sustainable future for all.
