Our Story
The Centennial Basketball Association, established in 1987, is dedicated to serving students in the Centennial School District. This nonprofit organization immerses children in grades 2 through 8 in the game of basketball, ensuring equal opportunities for both boys and girls. With a focus on teamwork and affordable fees, the CBA offers an in-house program with weekend play and manages 34 to 40 teams each year. Additionally, the traveling program features 22 to 26 teams that compete against other communities.
The CBA philosophy emphasizes creating a positive and fun environment where children can develop their basketball skills while learning essential life principles such as sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect. Teams are formed based on each child's current level of development, allowing them to grow and succeed alongside similar players.
As a proud partner of the Positive Coaching Alliance, the CBA upholds shared ideals to honor the game, teach life skills, and foster better athletes and better people.
