Our Story

The Cedartown/Polk County Humane Society was chartered in 2014 to save the lives of companion animals. Established with the vision to eliminate starvation, abuse, neglect, and euthanasia, the organization received a property in May 2021 in memory of Kerry Hall. This donation allowed the creation of a no-kill shelter and adoption center, fulfilling a dream supported by hundreds of volunteers since its inception.

Our Impact

Dedicated to saving companion animals, the Cedartown/Polk County Humane Society reduces pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter services and educational initiatives. These efforts empower pet owners and foster a compassionate community, ensuring that all animals in need find loving homes.
