Our Story

Founded in 1974, Cazenovia Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps Inc was established to fill the gap left by local funeral homes ceasing ambulance services. A dedicated community committee came together to create a volunteer ambulance service, which has since evolved to include paid paramedics.

Impact

CAVAC proudly delivers 24/7 Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to the Cazenovia area, responding to hundreds of emergency calls each year.
