Our Story

In 1984, a dedicated group of studio employees on the Warner Brothers backlot recognized the urgent need to address the growing population of homeless cats in their workplace. This compassionate initiative led to the formation of Cats At The Studios Inc. (CATS Inc.), a nonprofit organization committed to the welfare of these felines. Over the past thirty-five years, CATS Inc. has tirelessly worked to ensure that all cats living in the studio backlots are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and provided with essential medical care. Daily, they receive fresh food and water, ensuring their well-being.

Our Impact

Thanks to the unwavering support of the community, CATS Inc. has successfully adopted out all tame cats from the backlot into loving homes. The organization has expanded its mission beyond the studios, now dedicating resources to rescue and care for cats and kittens throughout Los Angeles.
