Our Story

Catholic Social Services (CSS) is dedicated to serving the Anchorage community by offering vital human support services. With a focus on food, shelter, and emotional well-being, CSS operates under the principles of Catholic social teachings to alleviate suffering and promote social change.

Impact

In Fiscal Year 2023, CSS made a significant impact by serving 16,432 clients through various programs, including emergency shelters and food assistance. The organization housed 439 individuals through its Homeless Family Services and provided food support to 13,458 clients via the St. Francis House Food Pantry.
