Our Story

Catholic Charities has been a beacon of hope in the Greater Tampa area for over 75 years. Established in 1945, this organization was created to alleviate the burdens faced by Catholic parishes in meeting the needs of the poor. Today, it has evolved into a $20 million agency, supported by over 170 dedicated employees and 300 volunteers, serving more than 20,000 individuals across five counties.
