Our Story

Catholic Charities Community Development Corporation has been a beacon of hope in the Greater Tampa area since 1945. Originally established as the Tampa Office for Charity, the organization has evolved over the decades to provide essential social services that support families and promote self-sufficiency. Celebrating its 75th Anniversary in 2020, Catholic Charities serves all residents of Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, regardless of race, creed, or socioeconomic status. With a dedicated team of over 170 employees and 300 volunteers, the organization operates with a budget of $20 million, impacting the lives of over 20,000 individuals annually.
