The Catholic Association for Latino Leadership (CALL) was founded in 2007 by Archbishop Jose H. Gomez and Archbishop Charles Chaput. This organization mobilizes Catholic Latinos, empowering them to fulfill their divine calling and inspiring them to lead their communities, the country, and the Church.
CALL has established scholarships totaling $75,000 for students attending Catholic high schools and has committed $100,000 to the Catholic Education Foundation for educational scholarships. Additionally, support has been provided to various initiatives, including financial assistance to Catholic Charities’ Cuban Initiative and the launch of a Spanish language Catholic Radio Station.
