Our Story

The Catherine J. Malatesta Foundation was established in 2018 to honor the legacy of Catherine Malatesta, who bravely battled Stage IV Epithelioid Sarcoma. This foundation emerged from community efforts to raise funds for scholarships in her memory, evolving into a mission dedicated to combating cancer and supporting those affected by it.

Impact

With over $200,000 donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America and significant contributions to the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the foundation is making a difference. Additionally, more than $15,000 has been directed to the Catherine J. Malatesta Scholarship Fund, aiding deserving Arlington High School seniors.
