Our Story

Catawba Valley Guardian Ad Litem Association was founded in April 2013 by dedicated volunteers who recognized the urgent need for additional support for the state Guardian Ad Litem program. This organization is committed to enhancing the lives of children in Foster Care by providing essential funds for enrichment activities and supporting the recruitment and retention of Guardian Ad Litem advocates.

Impact

Thanks to generous donations, CVGAL assisted children in the community with over $25,000 in aid in 2023. This support has enabled access to tutoring, camps, athletic and music equipment, field trips, laptops, and more!
