CATA: Anyi Literacy, Translation, & Training was founded in 1983 by Ettien Koffi, who recognized the need for a written form of the Anyi language after hearing a missionary speak in Côte d'Ivoire. This vision led to the development of a writing system and the translation of the New Testament, completed in 2017.
In the 2022-23 ministry year, CATA's literacy program successfully enrolled 3,762 students across 63 villages, demonstrating a significant demand for education among the Anyi people.
