Castro Valley Arts Foundation

Our Story

In 1998, community members collaborated with Castro Valley Unified School District to establish a performing arts center at Castro Valley High School. This initiative led to the formation of the Castro Valley Arts Foundation in 2005, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the arts in the community.

Impact

Each year, the Castro Valley Arts Foundation raises over $100,000 and contributes more than 2,500 volunteer hours, significantly improving access to arts education and entertainment for the community.
