Our Story

Founded by Harvey Milk in 1974, the Castro Street Fair has become a cornerstone of community support, gathering annually on the first Sunday in October.

Impact

Over the years, the Fair has raised more than $1.6 million for local nonprofits, helping to underwrite the cost of flying the Rainbow Flag at Harvey Milk Plaza.
