Our Story

Since 1973, Cascap Realty Inc has been dedicated to providing secure, affordable, and dignified housing for disadvantaged members of the Greater Boston community. Originally founded to support adults with mental illness, Cascap merged with ECHO in 1985 to expand its mission to include low-income frail elders. Today, Cascap is a respected nonprofit organization specializing in quality housing development and management, along with supportive services for elderly, low-income, and disabled adults.

Impact

Cascap operates in a non-discriminatory manner, affirming each individual’s unique characteristics. Over the past four decades, the organization has grown to own over 220 housing units across 33 locations in the Metro-Boston area, providing a supportive housing model that ensures essential services are available for those with special needs to thrive in the community.
