Our Story
The Cascade Forest Conservancy, originally formed as the Gifford Pinchot Task Force in 1985, has evolved into a vital advocacy organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of the forests, streams, wildlife, and communities in the southern Washington Cascades.

CFC has successfully halted harmful projects, such as a proposed mine near Mount St. Helens, and has fostered partnerships that enhance restoration and scientific opportunities in the region.
