Our Story

Incorporated in 2000, Cascade Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group, known as Cascade Fisheries, is one of fourteen regional fisheries enhancement groups dedicated to recovering salmon populations in Washington State. Established by the Washington State Legislature in 1990, this initiative engages local communities, citizen volunteers, and landowners in vital salmon recovery efforts. Each group operates independently, fostering dynamic partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, Native American tribes, and community members to lead successful restoration projects.
