Advocacy For Abused And Neglected Children
Providing Volunteers To Support Children In The Foster Care System

Our Story

In 1977, Judge David W. Soukup recognized the need for informed advocacy in children's court cases. This vision led to the creation of the National CASA Association in 1984, which now supports nearly 1,000 local programs across the U.S. CASA of the Tennessee Valley was established to serve children facing abuse and neglect, expanding its reach across multiple counties in Tennessee.

Impact

Since its inception, CASA for Children has facilitated the transition to safe, permanent homes for over 2,000,000 children. CASA volunteers play a crucial role in helping children navigate the foster care system, ensuring they receive essential services and reducing the likelihood of re-entering the court system.
