Our Story

CASA of Jefferson County was established to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy, ensuring that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect has a safe, permanent home. Founded as part of a national movement in 1977, the Alabama State CASA network was formed in 1993, and CASA of Jefferson County became a 501(c)(3) organization in 2009.
