Our Story

Casa Italiana Sociocultural Center, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Scalabrinian Fr. Caesar Donanzan to promote and preserve the rich Italian and Italian American heritage in the Washington, D.C. area. Over the years, it has grown to include the Italian American Museum of Washington, D.C. and various cultural and educational initiatives that celebrate this vibrant community.
