Our Story

CASA for Kids, Inc., established in 2002, trains community members to become Court Appointed Special Advocates. These advocates ensure that the voices of abused and neglected children are heard in the Courts of Washington County, PA. The organization was founded after the tragic death of a young child, highlighting the urgent need for objective fact-finders in the courtroom.

Impact

In the current year, CASA for Kids has provided advocacy for 130 children through the dedication of 57 volunteers, contributing a remarkable 9,000 donated hours. Over the years, the organization has positively impacted 1,564 children with the help of 382 volunteers and a staggering 265,000 donated hours.
