Our Story

Founded in 1982 by Kathy Foster and Bill Jones, Casa de Esperanza began with a vision to ensure every child in Houston grows up in a safe and stable environment. With a humble $500 gift, the organization has evolved into a trauma-informed, integrative program that has provided safety for over 6,700 infants and young children in the greater Houston area.

Impact

In 2023, Casa de Esperanza kept 25 at-risk infants and young children safe in loving foster homes, providing a total of 3,904 days of care. Remarkably, 100% of these children made progress toward meeting their developmental milestones.
