Our Story

Founded in 1964 by members of St. Mark’s Methodist Church, Casa de Amigos began as a community outreach initiative aimed at serving the east side of Midland. Starting in a small, abandoned grocery store, the organization has grown to include diverse programming and an ecumenical approach with community members from various churches joining the Board of Directors. The mission remains focused on 'Helping People Help Themselves.'

Impact

Today, Casa de Amigos serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually, providing essential programs that enhance self-sufficiency and improve quality of life.
