CASA Children's Intervention Services
EIN: 54-1661340 · Manassas, VA
Our Story
Founded in 1977 by Judge David Soukup in Seattle, CASA Children's Intervention Services was established to ensure the safety and well-being of child victims of abuse and neglect. Expanding its reach since 1994 in Prince William County, CASA CIS now serves multiple counties, including Fauquier and Rappahannock, making it one of the largest CASA programs in Virginia.
Impact
Each year, CASA CIS supports over 300 children, having positively impacted over 4,000 lives since its inception. Children with a CASA advocate are more likely to find permanent homes and receive essential services, significantly reducing their time in foster care.
