Our Story

Catmandu was founded by Linda Buchanan in 2014 after recognizing the lack of resources for homeless cats in Carson City. With her own funds and the dedication of volunteers, Catmandu became a cage-free sanctuary, offering a loving environment for at-risk felines.

Impact

Currently, Catmandu provides a safe haven for over 50 cats, helping them find new homes while caring for those who may never be adopted due to age or medical issues.
