Providing Support Services For Children In Foster Care

Our Story

Established in 1998, Carroll County CASA Inc. is dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children in Carroll County, Georgia. Founded by Russ and Mary Sarner, who were inspired by their experiences as CASA volunteers, the organization recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to support children involved in Juvenile Court dependency proceedings. With a professional office located at 110 Dixie Street, Suite 100 in Carrollton, CASA has expanded its capacity to train volunteers and serve the community effectively.

Impact on Children

A child in foster care with a committed CASA volunteer is significantly more likely to access essential services, find a safe and permanent home, and succeed in school. The presence of a CASA volunteer reduces the likelihood of multiple foster placements and re-entry into the foster care system, providing hope and stability to vulnerable children.
