Our Story
Carpenter Place began with a family in need and a group of compassionate Christians eager to help. Founded to care for children in crisis, it has evolved from its origins as MidWest Children’s Home in 1946, later renamed in honor of a generous benefactor. Today, Carpenter Place focuses on nurturing deeply hurting girls, helping them restore their relationships with God, family, and community.
