After Carol's tragic passing in 1996, her parents, Jim and Arlene Ragan, honored her legacy by starting a kitchen that would provide free meals to those in need. The first meal served was Carol's favorite, chicken enchilada casserole, and this tradition continues every year on the anniversary of the kitchen's founding.
