Our Story
Founded in 1989 by five passionate Columbia residents, Carolina Wildlife Center began in a garage with a mission to care for wildlife in distress. Over the years, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has evolved significantly, treating and rehabilitating over 55,000 animals from 200 different species. As urban development encroaches on natural habitats, the center plays a vital role in educating the community about wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting our eco-community.
