Founded in 2003 by Jennifer Gordon, Carolina Waterfowl Rescue began with a heartfelt mission to rescue orphaned ducklings. What started as a home-based initiative has blossomed into a nationally-recognized wildlife rescue and animal sanctuary, dedicated to avian, reptile, and farm animal species.
In 2023 alone, CWR admitted over 7,000 animal patients, thanks to the dedication of nearly 500 volunteers and the unwavering support of the community.
