Carolina Ballet, established in 1998, stands as one of America’s premier arts organizations, showcasing both traditional ballets and innovative contemporary works. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Zalman Raffael, the Ballet has flourished, celebrating its 25th Anniversary in the 2022-2023 season with 47 professional dancers. As it embarks on its 26th season, Carolina Ballet will expand to 52 dancers and present 9 captivating programs.

Over its 25-year history, Carolina Ballet has reached millions through thousands of performances and nearly 200 world-premiere works. The Ballet’s outreach initiatives have touched over 100,000 children, providing matinees for approximately 5,000 students annually and donating over 5,000 tickets to community service and educational nonprofits.
