Founded on September 11, 2008, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Carolina Aviation Professional Association (CAPA) emerged from a desire to unite professionals in the business aviation sector. The inaugural meeting, held on a date of significant national importance, symbolized resilience and community spirit. With over 25 attendees, including schedulers, dispatchers, and vendors, CAPA quickly expanded its reach to include pilots, maintenance technicians, and flight attendants. Meetings have since taken place across various cities, including Raleigh, Charleston, and Greensboro, fostering a strong network within the industry.
