Our Story

Founded in 1969 by Virginia Franks and Elizabeth Bell Midgett, Carobell, Inc. was born from a vision to create a nurturing environment for profoundly handicapped children. Witnessing the inadequate conditions in existing facilities, they began with a small group and have since expanded to offer a comprehensive range of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
