The Carmel Mission Foundation was established to restore and preserve the historic buildings, grounds, and artifacts of the Carmel Mission, founded in 1771. This independent 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to maintaining the rich history of the Carmel Mission through educational events, historical presentations, and artistic exhibits throughout the county.
