Our Story

Founded in 1985 by the Pennsylvania Council of Churches and local communities, the Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry has been dedicated to serving the needs of truck drivers and travelers for nearly 39 years. Located along U.S. Route 11, known as 'The Miracle Mile,' this independent nonprofit organization became a beacon of hope in 2009.

Each year, the ministry provides pastoral care and support to thousands of individuals, addressing their emotional and spiritual needs during times of loneliness and crisis. Services include prayer, counseling, and assistance with transportation and meals.
