Founded in 1985 by P. Leo Corcoran, Caritas Communities addresses the urgent need for affordable housing in Greater Boston. With a focus on low- and extremely low-income working individuals, the organization has pioneered a model centered around Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing, providing safe and secure living environments.
