Our Inspiring Journey

Caring Hearts and Paws Rescue Inc. was born from a family's passion for helping dogs in need. After volunteering with another rescue, the severity of the plight of innocent furbabies became clear. The journey began with a single foster dog and her eight puppies, who transformed our lives and ignited a mission to make a difference.

From the streets to safety, our first foster dog, who faced heartworm treatment and a near-euthanasia fate, became a cherished member of our family. This experience opened our eyes to the countless dogs in high-kill shelters and on the streets, waiting for a second chance. With the support of our community, over 370 dogs have been rescued and given the love and care they deserve.

Every dog saved is a testament to the compassion that spreads like wildfire among our supporters. The stories of our adopted dogs thriving in their forever homes inspire us to continue this rewarding journey. Together, we can save even more lives and ensure that every furbaby knows what love feels like.

Making a Difference

For every dollar donated, 93 cents directly support the care of pets in foster homes across the nation. This includes essential vaccinations, medications, and even specialty surgeries for dogs like Lucy, who needed a leg amputation after being rescued as a stray. The remaining 7 cents help secure future funding needs, ensuring that Caring Hearts and Paws Rescue can continue its vital work.
