Our Story

Founded in Los Angeles in 2001, Caring Hand for Children believes that education can change lives. With a mission to empower underprivileged children in India, CHC has grown from serving just 10 children to over 4,000 across 17 projects. The urgency of this mission is underscored by a report from the 'Times of India' revealing that 84 million children in India are out of school, facing a future filled with hopelessness. Inspired by the legislative bill 'No Child Left Behind', CHC is committed to educating one million children, continuously innovating to fulfill this goal through various programs, including a fundraising gala and a $20 a month Sponsor-A-Child initiative.
