Our Story

Founded in 1993 by Mary Ann Finch, the Care Through Touch Institute (CTI) emerged from a deep commitment to provide compassionate care through massage therapy. Serving marginalized communities, particularly those experiencing homelessness, CTI has established a vital presence in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. The organization emphasizes the importance of caring touch as a radical act of love and social justice, addressing the needs of individuals affected by poverty, trauma, and illness.
