Our Story

Founded in the Spring of 1999, CareForKids.org is dedicated to raising funds for local children’s charities in Kern County. By allocating 60% of all funds raised into an Endowment Fund, the organization ensures a sustainable future for local children. The remaining 40% is awarded biannually to charities focused on children's needs, guaranteeing that every dollar directly benefits children without any administrative costs.

Since its inception, CareForKids.org has invested over $1,200,000 in grants, significantly improving the lives of children in Kern County.
