Our Story

Founded in 2006, the Capital Region Vegan Network (CRVN) began as a grassroots initiative inspired by the VegFests of the early 2000s. The first-ever ‘NY’s Capital Region Vegetarian Expo’ took place in Saratoga Springs in 2007, marking a significant milestone in promoting vegan education. Over the years, CRVN has evolved from a fully volunteer-run organization into a vibrant community hub, hosting monthly gatherings, educational events, food demonstrations, and volunteer opportunities.
