Capital Community Athletics, known as CCA, serves as a home away from home for refugees in Sacramento, the leading refugee resettlement city in the U.S. Many young refugees from war-torn countries like Afghanistan, Syria, and Ukraine find hope and community through our athletic programs.
Currently, CCA supports 200 immigrant boys and girls aged 6-15 through soccer, cricket, and running programs. With over 150 youth on our waiting list, the need for expansion is critical to provide these children with the joy of being part of a team.
