Our Story

Since 1992, Capital Area CASA Association has been dedicated to serving abused and neglected children in East Baton Rouge Parish. This private, non-profit organization was founded by a group of passionate individuals committed to ensuring that every child has a voice in the court system. CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of these vulnerable children.

Impact

Over 1,500 CASA volunteers have provided a voice in court for 3,667 abused children, making a significant difference in their lives.
